About the Bible:
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. We further believe that it is inspired by God. It is our understanding and firm belief that the King James Bible is the preserved Word of God in the English language, and therefore the only Bible to be accepted and used by English speaking people. It is our sole authority for faith and practice.
About God:
We believe in one God. Further do we believe that this one God exists in three persons–the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. This one and only God is a Spirit.
-God the Father is all powerful and all knowing. He has always been and always will be. He is the Creator of all things.
-God the Son, Jesus, was conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of a virgin, Mary. His sinless life, real death, bodily resurrection and ascension, paid for our salvation, proved His Deity and fulfilled the scriptures. He is equal to and is God.
-God the Holy Ghost we believe indwells, seals and guides every believer. His work is manifold but ultimately points toward Christ, never disagrees with scripture and is in complete harmony with the Father. He is equal to and is God.
About Man:
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam’s sin all fell. Since that first man, we have all inherited a sin nature, and are alienated from God. Man is depraved and unable to remedy his lost condition of himself. God created man in His own image and in that Christ died for all men, every individual is worthy of respect and Christian love.
About Salvation:
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone plus nothing minus nothing. As such, it is complete, eternal and requires no maintenance or upkeep by us.
About Christ’s Return:
We believe that Christ’s return is literal, personal, visible, imminent, premillennial, and pretribulational.
About the church:
We believe that the local Baptist Church is the body of Christ. It is made up of saved and baptized persons. It was started by Christ and continued by the Apostles.
We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches, by local churches is clearly taught in the New Testament. We believe in the autonomy of the local church, led by the pastor, led by God.
About soulwinning:
We believe that every Christian has a duty, yea a calling, by God, to win others to Him. We believe that this should be borne-out in the way that we conduct ourselves at all times. We also believe that we are to go out and actively seek the lost rather than wait for them ‘to notice our serene lives and ask’ for salvation. We believe that we are to periodically GO soulwinning but also believe that we are to always BE soulwinners!
About separation:
-Personally we have chosen to live lives that exemplify the separation becoming of spiritual leadership. We have been and will continue to be gracious to those who do not live their lives upholding the same biblical separation standards that we have adopted. We do not nor have we ever partaken of alcohol, tobacco in any form or illegal drugs. Furthermore, we refrain from worldly entertainment, do not attend theatres, have chosen not to have a television and hold our internet usages to the highest moral and spiritual standards. We feel strongly about these things because we realize that our separation is not only from things of this world, but unto our Saviour. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of decency in the areas of morality, attire and attitude. We practice these beliefs in public places as well as at home. We have chosen to teach and train our children by these same principles.
-Ecumenically, We are BAPTIST!
We are not Catholic nor are we Protestant. We have not, do not, and will not, yoke up with any denomination or convention.
We believe that there is an unbroken line from John the Baptist, through Jesus, the apostles, and now through the last two millenia of Baptist believers and churches. This Baptist lineage may be hard to trace due to persecutions and destruction of recorded histories, nonetheless is and will continue until the coming of Jesus Christ to rapture all believers. We stand against the perversions of the charismatic movement to include, but not exclusively, unknown tongues speaking and interpreting, snake handling, predictive prophesying and demonstrative healing.
